The 50KG satellite platform is a high-resolution remote sensing satellite platform designed with the goal of “smaller size, lighter weight,sub-meter resolution,and remote sensing imaging”.
The entire satellite platform is equipped with a high-performance communication system, and the satellite can be modified in orbit through the ground operation control system.
How to realize On-Orbit Satellite Reconfiguration and Inter-Satellite Communication
After launch, the 50KG Satellite Platform supports in-orbit reconfiguration where software functions can be iterated, operational states switched, and configuration parameters modified via ground control systems. It features a laser communication system enabling inter-satellite communication capabilities.
Key Components of the 50KG Satellite Platform
- The platform utilizes a dual-star sensor configuration, dual light sensors, primary and backup magnetometers, and primary and backup GNSS for multi-sensor attitude determination. It employs a high-precision momentum wheel with torque control accuracy ≤0.1mNm, ensuring overall satellite stability at 0.03°/s and measurement precision better than 0.01°, with pointing accuracy exceeding 0.1°. These attributes make it suitable for missions requiring precise attitude control such as remote sensing and laser communication.
