CUBESAT – SPACEBORNE COMPUTER
The CubeSat Spaceborne computer features a high-performance, multifunctional design, combining orbit positioning, attitude measurement, attitude control, computation, and storage in a compact form. With dimensions under 200mm x 100mm x 20mm and a weight under 300g, it replaces traditional satellite components such as reaction wheel control boards, magnetic torque device control boards, magnetometers, gyroscopes, and power distribution boards.
The IOBC serves as the central unit for satellite management, attitude control, and payload management. It includes various communication interfaces, notably the RS422 commonly used in aerospace. It supports external three-phase brushless motor control and three-axis magnetic torque converter control. The IOBC integrates GNSS, IMU, and MTM, and provides multiple external payload power interfaces.
Key specifications include:
Wheel speed control accuracy: 5 rpm
Magnetic torquer current control accuracy: better than 5mA
Integrated magnetometer with a measurement range of ±2 gauss and accuracy better than 1%
Integrated gyroscope with zero bias stability better than 0.8 º/h, measurement range better than ±50 º, and measurement accuracy better than 0.01 º/s
